Description of Implementation

January - February
1. We developed the survey for the students,  using information from the readings and from our professional collection.
March
2. We shared the survey with the teacher for her suggestions.
3. We received permission to use the survey as long as we did not use names and gave parents an option and all the information.
4. We handed out the surveys along with the permission forms.
5. Out of forty-three students, thirty-four were able to participate, and thirty-two were allowed to have their results posted online.
April
6. We conducted the survey through discussion and student writing.  Students had time to share what made them different and talk to each other and then writing down their responses after they felt comfortable about what the question was trying to ask.

Evaluation of Project

May
1. We took the results and created some statistics as well as some individual responses from the questions.
2. Combining the data, we created a website that would share those results online.
3. We shared the results with the teacher and students.
4. Students gave feedback on the website, which you can see on the conclusions section of the website.
